I have a composition which is going to require an endless rotational input - a wheel than can be rotated in either direction, with no end points. In terms of building the sensor, the easiest way I can see is to disassemble a ball mouse and scavenge the parts. The problem comes from that 'mouse' now makes it impossible to use the pointer on the screen properly and it has limits (the edges of the screen limiting the pointer).

Anyone got any ideas how to make the 'mouse' not control the pointer but just provide a value to QC?
