The Mac mini's graphics card remains an ATI Radeon 9200 but now features double the VRAM at 64MB. The video card remains incapable of supporting Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger's Core Image technology. The hard drives have also been upgraded to 5,400-rpm models, as previously noted.

I think it's great it's been doubled, but in what way is it incapable of supporting Core Image?

Some of the Core Image functions are emulated in software, rather than running on the GPU. Core Image apps all work AFAIK - and performance is usually OK, since the image is static. When CI filters are applied to video, then that's a problem, and at least some [maybe all] such apps will refuse to run.
