triggering interpolation

Hi,

Total newbie, and this is probably really obvious but here goes anyway....

what I want to do is have triggers that reset and then start a non looping interpolation. So for instance, you hit a key and it triggers a colour shift between two set points. If you hit the key again it does it again from the original point. Also it would be good if you hit a different key, it could do the same but in reverse.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question but I'm having trouble getting my head into the QC way of working!
