you are right, I have no chance to do it with two PCI graphic card;
I probably need to use a hardware dvi splitter – then I have one
video output via dvi and then I split the output into 5 or 8 several
images… or does somebody have a better idea? thanks, simon


Five mac minis and one control machine....

Each mac mini renders one output, the compositions communicate via
ethernet or midi....

Expensive but so are DVI splitters I believe....

If you manage to connect 5 screens to the mac using a bunch of extra PCI cards (anything better than an ATI Rage 128), you can write an app that creates 5 full-screen opengl context, each of them attached to a QCRenderer rendering a single composition.


The Quartz Extreme restriction is not enforced when using a QCView or QCRenderer. It's not officially supported, that's it :)
