Indeed, that's the way to do it. Indeed, QCRenderers are very low-overhead around a composition - there are no problems here.
Ok this sounds great, so if hypothetically you were to start designing a
new VJ program from scratch the most efficent way would be to use
QCRenderer instances for playing everything, plain quicktimes and QC
compositions wouldn't it?
And this is exactly the path that Performer uses?
