I just increased the maximum message size to 64Kb on this list, so that allows members to attach to their emails some stripped-down-to-the-essential compositions or small screenshots. Let's give it a try and if nobody abuses the system, that should be pretty useful :)

Some tips for doing screenshots in Quartz Composer:

1) capture the area of the editor window (zoom out on the workspace using the Editor menu) or viewer with Cmd-Ctrl-Shift-4

2) in Preview, do File -> New from Clipboard, then File -> Save As... and choose PNG format for screenshots of the editor or JPEG format for screenshots of the viewer (should compress the most this way)

3) add the new file to the email

Note that if you want to capture the whole viewer window, you can do Cmd-C when it's the frontmost window to copy the contents to the clipboard.
