Re: generating a circle

do you want it solid or outline?

for a solid circle use a sphere and "render in image" to make it a 2d image.  There may be
a way of rendering this outline, haven't played with it.

that's an interesting idea (wouldn't have thought of that), but the CIKernel approach, although it requires some basic GLSL knowledge, will provide a high-quality result and be more efficient.
