I have been trying to create a QC that will import a text list either by RSS or Kineme's plugin, works fine once around but does not seem to want to update if there have been fresh changes to the file. How does one tell the comp to re-import the file and update itself? I initially thought I had discovered the cause being several plist files with similar names in the ByHost folder in ~/Library/ Preferences/, deleted them and the comp updated but it only worked once and subsequent deletions have no effect. Does anyone know where the input text for a QC comp is cached/stored? I notice as well that Safari can be stubborn in updating RSS feeds short of a 'Reset'.
