Hi, I'm converting some Mac code to Windows, and am falling down on OpenADefaultComponent(...), which returns -2003 (cannot open the component).

Does anyone know if maybe there's a common situation where this occurs that I don't know about?
The code is for a DLL under Windows 2000 Pro using QT6.

When my DLL is first loaded I call:
err=InitializeQTML(0);// returns 0
err=EnterMovies();// returns 0
...so that seems to be OK

...and when I try to open a component I use this code:
GraphicsImportComponent gi=NULL;
err=OpenADefaultComponent(GraphicsImporterComponentType,kQTFileTypeTIFF,&gi)
;// returns -2003


Any pointers would be greatly appreciated :)
