Re: insert- delete track segment!

Hi ya;

DeleteTrackSegment (or MovieSegment etc.) does not "Physically Remove" any media from a Movie, which explains why your movie is no smaller. If you need to remove media you have deleted you need to save the current movie to another movie file.

Hi!

I have a problem with the quicktime api functions InsertTrackSegment(...)
and DeleteTrackSegment.(...)
I like to replace a Segment in one Track and therefore i call
DeleteTrackSegement(...) and InsertTrackSegment(...).
Everytime I call this function playing movie is right but the file get
bigger and bigger.

Or: I called the function DeleteTrackSegment(...), after that the Segment in
the movie was deletet (i could not see it) but
the size of the moviefile was the same.

And now my Question is: Are there any possibilities to resolve this problem
with the quicktime-api?

Thanks,
Josef Brunner
