RE: MP4 files and iods (initial object descriptor atom)

Eric,

Thanks for the help.

How can I export something from the QT6 Pro player to obtain an MP4 file?
There doesn't appear to be a way to export to a mp4 file from within the
Windows 2000 version of the player. Is this correct?

Note the ".mov" extension on these files, they are QuickTime movies
which contain MPEG4 data (a movie wrapped around MPEG4 data). If you
want a file that will play back without QuickTime you need to export
to .mp4. MP4 files created by QuickTime should have iods's.
