Re: QT ActiveX

I am trying to use QT ActiveX control in a C# application.

Here are a few questions:

1. Is there a way to disable the right click on the control so that the
quicktime options menu does not popup?

you should be able to grab the keypresses I think from the control somehow (it's more .NET specific, try asking at WinForms-related newsgroup of Microsoft)

2. Is there a way to programmatically ask the control to start instantly
instead of caching the movie?

the controls properties/methods/events (for JavaScript - similar should apply for C#) are documented on the Apple website (I think at "quicktime/authoring" section at ADC).

3. Is there a way to get notified through the control when a chapter change
occurs in the movie?

don't think Apple's QuickTime control has any support for emitting events

my QTVRControlX control has only QTVR-related events for now, so also check SkyLight (Pro) in case it supports the event you need
