Hi Roine, If you paste on a folder icon you will add a icon resource fork to the directory, and you're back to square one wrt not using resource forks. Not really a problem because the resource fork isn't part of the Mach-O binary which is the main issue. So, a combination of Brads suggestion to prevent the folder from being opened and a custom icon will solve the problem until the system does it for you. Please file a bug about this (I think it will be a duplicate but that's fine, I'd like to see it work myself). I personally think a .component should have a system icon identifying it as such when a custom icon isn't provided, and when a custom icon is included in the bundle it should work as you would expect.
