Graphic Importer Bounds Rect

What is the difference between:

GraphicsImportGetNaturalBounds
GraphicsImportGetBoundsRect

According to Apple docs, GraphicsImportGetBoundsRect uses GraphicsImportGetNaturalBounds plus GraphicsImportGetMatrix to calculate the bounds rect.

GraphicsImportGetNaturalBounds gives the native bounds of the image associated with the graphic importer. Under what circumstances would this be different from the drawing rectangle given by GraphicsImportGetBoundsRect?
