Obtaining raw jpeg data from a Photo-Jpeg track

Hi. I'm trying to find a way to play a track of Photo-Jpegs, but I want to use a different decompression algorithm than the one provided by QuickTime. Is there a way to do this? More specifically, is there a way to simply request a frame of jpeg data at a certain time value of the video track, preferably once the movie is in memory rather than reading each frame separately from disk? This would be the ideal solution. I just need to be able to grab any frame I want from a specific point on a video track, without making a gworld, etc...I just want the raw jpegs. Any help on what functions to use here, or what sample code to look at would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
