MovieExportDoUserDialog - in command line tool, dialog window is not responsive

Hi,

I am writing a standard command line tool, which links against Carbon
and QuickTime, and is to be run via the Terminal.

Invoking MovieExportDoUserDialog(), the dialog window appears behind
the Terminal window, but it is not responsive (frozen). I can move
the dialog window, but cannot press any buttons on the dialog window.

Is this to do with the Carbon application event loop for the command
line tool? Currently, my command line tool does not do anything
w/regards to event loops, etc.

Does anybody know what I need to set up so that
MovieExportDoUserDialog() works as expected? (I have it working fine
in both Carbon and Cocoa applications). I looked at an example called
"ImportExportMovie" in the Sample Code section but it seems to be for
OS 9, and some of the Init functions aren't relevant in Carbon.

Thanks (& Happy Holidays!)
