Thank you for for trying it Martin. Yes, I have recompiled. I have tried it
in many different test programs with exactly the same results every time.
Now we know it doesn't crash on all systems running 10.4. It crashes on my
400mhz Power Mac G4 running 10.4.2 from a Firewire drive, but works on the
same machine booted with 10.3.8 on an internal drive. For another customer
it crashed on a Powerbook in 10.3.8 and 10.3.2. It crashes on another
customer's Powerbook running 10.4. It works for some configurations and not
others. I don't have enough test samples to figure out what configurations
will cause SndRecord to crash. Sound input system prefs, or QT version,
appear to have nothing to do with it.
