I'm trying to convert DV PAL QuickTime movies to DV PAL AVI files
using MovieExportToDataRef and an exporter of type kQTFileTypeAVI or
kQTFileTypeDVC.
The code and generated files are OK, as long as the source movie
(that I'm exporting) is not larger than about 15min - if it is, the
generated files are corrupt and cannot be used on any player I've
tested.
Is this a QuickTime limitation or am I doing something wrong?
Does someone know a better way of exporting MOV to AVI - maybe even
without the need to re-compress the frames?
