There is not an explicit API for setting a camera's format/mode with the QuickTimeIIDCDigitizer.component. Rather, the digitizer queries the camera for to see if it has any of the pixel formats it supports (YUV 4:2:2 - 8bit/component, (and the YUV 4:1:1 12bit/pixel will be internally upscaled to this prior to handing back to a client), RGB/Mono - 8bit/component), and attempts to make it best match of the camera settings to how the SequenceGrabber is configured. It can vary slightly based on the camera's abilities, but in general if you want the camera to generate a particular format/mode set the compression type (to get the camera's 4:1:1 format select "Component Video - CCIR-601 uyvy" in the SGSettingsDialog()), and set the channel bounds to the frame size for the desired format. Is there any QT accommodation for Bayer? The QuickTimeIIDCDigitizer.component currently only supports the pixel formats mentioned above. |
