How to capture DV video with camera control?

How does one go about capturing video and having camera control (i.e. fast forward, reverse, play)?

I can use the Sequence Grabber to obtain the video but there's no camera control.

I can use AVC Services to control the camera but there's no display of the video.

Is it possible to use these two together?
