RE: ActiveX: How to use exporter settings

Show the dialog the first time and query for the settings then to store and
reuse them later on

Most probably you can't instantiate a CFObjectClass directly yourself

Have you search the list archive for previous postings by John Chromie on
this issue?

Subject: ActiveX: How to use exporter settings

With the ActiveX control, how can I use the exporter settings, so that I can
get rid of the exporter dialog?
Seems that I can't instatiate the settings property of the exporter object.

If I do something like:
...
QTOLibrary.QTExporter exp=qt.Exporters[1];
exp.SetDataSource(AxQTControl.Movie);
//exp.ShowExportDialog();
exp.Settings=new QTOLibrary.CFObjectClass(); ...
Gives me an COMException in the settings. Where are the settings stored?
What is the XML format and where is the documentation about this ActiveX
control in general?
