Media handler derived from Apple Video Media Handler

Hello all,

Is it possible to create a media handler component derived from the Apple Video Media Handler rather than from the base media handler?
The reason for this is that my component would be either just a "pass through" (directly delegating all requests to the Apple Video Media Handler without any processing) or, if the movie has a special atom added, it would modify the data in the frame (no change in the data size is involved) passed to the codec before displaying. I think only the component Idle and Initialize functions would need to be "overriden" in such a case.
Is it possible?
