I'm writing a small app that captures from Firewire (DV). Now
Sequence Grabber can be set up to record, but is there a way to
simply get the output data from Sequence Grabber, and have another
thread, or method actually record it to disk?
I ask because I'm writing my app in a way where the capture/preview
module is different to the record module and I want to be able to
pass the captured data to the record module for recording to disk.
SGDataProc is your friend. See the CaptureAndCompressIPBMovie
example (Google it).
