ConvertMovieToDataRef leak

Hello

I am exporting 1gb+ movies using ConvertMovieToDataRef, my problem is that as the export proceeds significant amounts of RAM are used and never freed by the component, even when I call CloseComponent(),

Ideally I would like the component not to fill up my RAM as it works, bit imperatively it must release it once completed. So how best to avoid this issue?

simplified code snippet below:


 	err = NewMovieFromHandle(&movie, movieHandle, newMovieActive, NULL);


    compDesc.componentType = MovieExportType;
    compDesc.componentSubType = kQTFileTypeMovie;
    compDesc.componentManufacturer = kAppleManufacturer;
    compDesc.componentFlags = 0;

    movieExporterComponent = FindNextComponent(NULL, &compDesc);


    err = OpenAComponent(movieExporterComponent, &exporter);


err = MovieExportSetSettingsFromAtomContainer(exporter, exportSettings);


err = ConvertMovieToDataRef(movie,
0,
dataRef,
dataRefType,
kQTFileTypeMovie,
FOUR_CHAR_CODE('TVOD'),
createMovieFileDeleteCurFile | createMovieFileDontCreateResFile,
exporter);


	CloseComponent(exporter);


	DisposeMovie(movie);
