QuickTime Pro does Video Capture ????

It seems like the answer is no. But that answer just sits very very oddly
with me. I have a USB Camera that is accessed very readily by Virtual Dub.
But I can't seem to get access with HackTV or QuickTime Pro. I'm pretty
confused as to what's going on.

I must be missing something basic. Someone please educate me.
