Converting NewMovieFromFile to NewMovieFromProperties

I have some code that is using NewMovieFromFile and NewMovieFromDataRef.  Is there any examples that show exactly how to mimic / replace a NewMovieFromFile with a call to NewMovieFromProperties?  Also for NewMovieFromDataref to NewMovieFromProperties.
