My apologies in advance. I can't find an answer to this in the archives though it seems to me it must be there.
Here is a simple text track I want to embed in a QT slideshow.
{QTtext}{font:Times}{bold}{clipToTextBox:on}{shrinkTextBox:on}{scrollOut:on}{keyedText:on}{size:18}{textColor: 65535, 65535, 65535}{backColor: 0, 0, 0}{justify:center}{width:600}{height:60}{timeScale:1000}{timeStamps:relative}{language:0}{textEncoding:0}{scrollOut:on}
[00:00:01.000]
{textBox: 0, 11, 36, 589}{scrollDelay:250}
Jeff Soles standing near the southern end of the island near our campsite. 2:17pm July 7, 2000.
[00:00:05.000]
{textBox: 0, 22, 54, 578}{scrollDelay:250}
Wildflower (a rose?) by the same trail to our campsite that was shot at 2:18pm on July 7, 2000.
[00:00:05.000]
{textBox: 0, -1, 54, 601}{scrollDelay:250}
Joe, Jeff, and Susan looking out towards the light on the water near Donna's Point at 7:03pm, July 7, 2000.
[00:00:05.000]
{textBox: 0, 111, 36, 489}{scrollDelay:250}
A cool fanned shaped tree. 7:09pm, July 7, 2000.
And so on....
The problem is the text sample are all lumping together. As I understand things the {timestamps:relative} should be causing them to appear at the first second of the movie (the track starts at the beginning of the movie) and then every 5 seconds after that. The first sample appears when it is supposed too, but the subsequent sample are appearing immediately afterwards (sample 2 at about 3.5 seconds, sample 6 at about 6 seconds) after the previous sample scrolls away. I'm probably missing something obvious but I don't know what it is. Help please.
