If above is true. Ben, what makes you hope others would use QT MPEG-4's way of
\ignoring\ users gamma settings?

Taking the responsiblity for monitor gamma besides the users settings appears a bit, eh,
rough. REAL style, sotosay.

What about hoping for a user-side gamma setting in the QT player itself?
