I hope someone on the list can provide insight. I created a small black matte for the top and bottom of a Final Cut Pro render. The purpose of the matte is to mask the occasion microphone booom bouncing into the frame. I used Cleaner 5 to compress to MPEG1. The MPEG1 file plays back as expected within Quicktime. The matte is exactly where is is supposed to be. However, Windows Media Player almost triples the size of the black matte at the bottom of the screen. Any insight into why this occurs or how to overcome? Thanks in advance.
