plugin drop down menu

There is a small drop down menu available from the quicktime plugin. It has
things like about quicktime, save as source etc. Is there any way of getting
'streaming preferences'  on to this. It appears to me that the streaming
port settings is the most likely one a user would change when trying to
connect to a stream.
