QT compatibility for iPhoto export movie

I have to create some QT 5 compatible movies. My present method is to use
iPhoto and export. The resulting file has "photo - jpeg" format and "cross
fade" format. Are these both ok in QT5? I'm running Panther so I haven't a
way of testing.

I see in Martin Sammtleben's excellent QT list that "photo - jpeg" should be
fine. It's the cross fade I'm concerned about.

Oh, and on Martin's list - if you're out there somewhere Martin - the Indeo
entries are a bit misleading for mine. Seeing that 6.0.3 was the last pre OS
X version of QT and that Indeo has never been available for OS X then the
Indeo's should no longer be in the chart under 6.3/6.4.
