I've got text "burnt in" (I guess) over a number of frames --sorta like
a credit roll, but not, only a title in a corner that last for at most
6 seconds... I'd like to paint over it (black) or something to get rid
of it or cover it; it's white text on a black background --the movie
is, of course, playing while it is there.
Thanks,
Ted

Err... I'm not understanding. You've got a video and a text track?
Or is it a video with text rendered on the last frame?? If you've got
a text track, just remove the last sample of the text track. If
you've got video and want to remove the last frame, just select it
(take the playhead to the end, press the shift key and the left arrow
key once) and delete it. Then save the movie as self contained.
If you have text burnt on the last video frame and you only want to
remove the text (without removing the frame) you'll have to go to your
video source and edit from there.
