Subject: Setting the Display to 640x480 and then resetting it back
again?

I'm reposting this in hopes of a response. (last post was 9/30/03)
Information request,
We're looking for the code & instructions that will
1. Get the current Display (Monitor) size
2. Set the Display (Monitor) to 640x480
3. Play the .mov file in a full screen black background window
(html, QuickTime or other)
4. When the .mov closes, (optional: Quit QuickTime if necessary )
4. Reset the Display (Monitor) from 640x480 back to its "original"
Display (Monitor) size (from step 1)?
Here is an example that demonstrates that it can be done!
Apple QuickTime movie trailer Underworld
http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/underworld/
trailer_fullscreen.html
- Click here to watch the full screen trailer -
You might not notice the Display size switching if you only have one
monitor but it does.
TIA,
