Revisited: lossless Compression for QT

Am also looking for the right archival solution that allows me to transcode 'clean' and cropped source on both PC and Apple.

I was amazed by performance and quality of the Sheer codec, and am seriously considering it. Unfortunately, I found Cleaner XL on PC does not accept Sheer source, while QT and Cleaner 5 on PC happily open and play my files.

Can anyone shed a light? Notified the dev team at Bitjazz, will ask at the Discreet forum, but some of the great compressionists here may be able to give me a better answer, so here goes :)
