To address possible confusion for the original poster, Apple /is/ using
QuickStart (which basically moves the Movie's "table of contents" to the
start of the file).
Some people like to reserve "streaming" for RTP/RTSP streaming, and other
names for what Apple's doing for trailers are "HTTP streaming", "progressive
streaming", or "progressive download". Either way, it's all "play the movie
while it's still being downloaded".
