MPEG-2 Component & QT Universal Binaries

Last July I bought the QT MPEG2 Component.

If there is a newer version, I will buy it if necessary, though I would prefer a free upgrade.

The Apple site is unclear and does not indicate that the current component is Universal Binary -- I have 2 Intel Macs.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
