In the past I've been adding caption tracks to
Sorenson encoded MOVs, or have assembled a seperate MOV and QTtext file and
combined them with a SMIL file.
I'll be adding captions to H.264 encoded MPEG-4's
and would like for the resulting file to be standards compliant - not quicktime
specific. Is there a way to do this? If so, how? If not, what would
be the best way to add captions to a MPEG-4 file. The resulting files will
be streamed via DSS.
Any suggestions or references to examples would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.
