I've looked through the list archives and in what docs I could find and had no luck... which is to say I've tried to RTFM so please forgive what may be an obvious question(s):
Where are the default export preset for QuickTime 7 Pro stored and in what format?
I need to modify the 'Movie to IPod' preset to lower the data rate. There are things this QT 7 Pro export preset makes VERY easy (aspect ratio preservation) and reliable (the output plays reliably everywhere we need it to) that I want to preserve.
Because the 'Options' button is greyed out for the 'Movie To iPod' preset, I can't even fake it.
Rather than try to rebuild from scratch and do a bunch of compatibility testing Apple's already done or move some work upstream in my workflow, modifying that preset and distributing the modification internally would be enormously helpful.
Any recommendations or links to docs I may have missed would be very much appreciated.
