Anyone know why Safari won't recognize .m4a files as being media
files? Any time I click on a link on a web page with a .m4a file I get
a string of text loading, rather than QT recognizing the file type. I
can download the file and load it into QT player, but I really
shouldn't have to do that, should I? Is there something I'm missing?
Safari respects MIME types. You need to set up the webservers to report
the correct MIME type for m4a
This is an uphill struggle for IIS and Windows zealots as they both
work by file extension.
