Been told there is no way to run Quicktime movies within a Flash presentation - yes/no?

No way to run Quicktime movies in Flash without re-encoding into Flash video.


However, there are many ways to integrate Flash and Quicktime without having Quicktime literally *in* the Flash .swf. And Flash content (at least some flavors) can run within Quicktime.

But no, in order to support Quicktime within Flash, the Flash plugin would have to have a complete Quicktime library built-in... which would make Flash Player a lot bigger than now, for something that would benefit few people. If you want to integrate Flash and QT there are other ways...
