I know that I can view PDFs in QuickTime and in iTunes on the Mac
but am unsure as to whether this extends to the PC or to the iPod.

Been told there is no way to run Quicktime movies within a Flash
presentation - yes/no?
No way to run Quicktime movies in Flash without re-encoding into
Flash video.
However, there are many ways to integrate Flash and Quicktime without
having Quicktime literally *in* the Flash .swf. And Flash content (at
least some flavors) can run within Quicktime.
But no, in order to support Quicktime within Flash, the Flash plugin
would have to have a complete Quicktime library built-in... which
would make Flash Player a lot bigger than now, for something that
would benefit few people. If you want to integrate Flash and QT there
are other ways...
