Re: Bye bye Windows Media Player for Mac!

Was the test movie supposed to look like the top half was cut off? It did to me. In fact it looks like 16:9 proportion and has no controller. When I go to http://www.archive.org/download/ noveltoon_tarts_and_flowers/noveltoon_tarts_and_flowers.mpg directly, the movie is 4:3 proportion, it has a controller, and the whole movie is visible. This is on Mac 10.4.4, QT 7.0.4 in Safari.

Try <http://wiltgen.net/test.html> in both Firefox and IE on Windows,
current versions of each, default settings for Windows Media Player
and QuickTime.

Well, it helps to tell the browser what the dimensions of the file are.

That'd be nice, but the height of the controls changes depending on the
player.
