I want to accelerate the export of h264 files for web and iPod. (Somewhat on topic can the iPod take a hinted mp4?) I have a couple of XServes taking DV files and ripping them for export and then does some post processing. Since I am doing 75 min of source per hour I need something better than unity in export. What I noticed is that memory isn't full, the disk isn't being hit hard and the processors are only running about 60% each. Its obviously not a hardware issue unless the bus is choked. What can I do to get it done faster? Do I have to go and write C. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
