We just started our first wiki http://nutmeg.conncoll.edu/wiki/ and will be starting to use them for
class support.
We are using MediaWiki for now, but will be evaluating other solutions.
I wanted to start using QuickTime .mov files, audio and video, in the
wikis, for Mac and PC clients, with the usual browsers: Safari,
Explorer. Firefox optional.
We may also want to use mp3 and mp4 audio, but play it using QT
Player or the QT Plug-in.
I guess I'll start using our usual embed and object tags, as wikis
supposedly understand HTML.
I have heard that it is not used very efficiently though.
Anyone have any "lessons learned"?
Thanks,
