the less Apple could do : a dialog to be presented to users when
opening QuickTime content with embedded Flash asking whether to
enable the content. Within this dialog a checkbox should be
available to indicate that this question need not be asked each time.
Unfortunately Flash is truly disabled. QuickTime wouldn't even know
that it's a Flash track. And even if it could it would require
relaunching the browser for the content to appear, which isn't
ideal either.
In that case, Apple should revised how it is currently disabling the
Flash Track and release a 7.1.4 asap, at least this is what we are
pushing/hoping for.
I would recommend any developer affected to contact Apple and explain
how this change impacts your business and clients. Please email
email@hidden and any Apple contact you might have.
