- My name is Scott and currently I work for the Web IT department as
web designer/web developer
- I use flash in my movies for interactive content. This ranges from
custom movie controllers, closed captioning hiding etc.

  And I run a website http://www.archiveclassicmovies.com. I was in
the process of making flash based id graphics kind of like what they
do in TV to show what movies are going to be playin next, I hadn't
implemented it yet and now it looks like I'm not going to because
Apple screwed everything up disabling Flash.

- Action. What actions? I don't plan to do anything... Apple has
really screwed me over on this. The steps that the user is required
to do is to much to ask. So I guess I'm going to have to use
something else I haven't yet, I'll figure it out after I make some
phone calls to tell people their stuff is broken.

Hi All:

Well, this flash issue is burning up this list moreso than others... I am now culling through all the posts to this list. My apologies if this is old news, but I actively read the QTVR list... :)

I have a couple blog posts which may be of interest to all here who use Flash in their interactive QT content. These may or may not be news to folks here, but they do include links to Apple technotes & related news articles which explain Apple's sudden decision.

I am currently drafting a letter, along with some of my clients, to send to Apple regarding the impact this is having now and will have on future projects.

Anyone who would like to be included as a signor, please contact me off-list. The letter is not a whine, but a professional and reasonable response regarding Apple's action(s).
