If you don't want to see html at all and want to create a web page
that puts a movie on top of an image, buy Stampbot from the Pageot
site. It will create the html for you.
This looks like a nice tool. I wish there were more "off the shelf"
widget-type players for QT, the QT Plug-in is starting to look dated
next to all the new "Web 2.0-ified" Flash video players. It would be
nice to have more 'fashionable' skins available. Sorry, but eye candy
sells.
Many of us have the talent to create the cool graphics in Photoshop
and to learn to code all these goodies in LiveStage, JavaScript, etc,
but DON'T have the time to actually do it, we're too busy with other
things.
And those ubiquitous flash players, here are 10 fast-start http
movies on a page that don't all download at once, but download only
when you hit play: http://www.beet.tv/
Would be nice to have some of these in QT, and no reason why it's not
possible.
Maybe Apple can hire a few interns to make the QT Plug-In look like a
Flash player...
