And there's the issue.

QT's built around media components.... however, Apple provided the initial Flash media handler and doesn't seem to be moving forward on maintaining it (and they have no obligation to continue supporting someone else's media handler).

Where's Adobe in coming to the table to provide a Flash media handler for QT that they are able to upgrade and maintain on their own in the interest of "Flash everywhere"?
