Why is that? I think that Flash 5 level of control is ok for QuickTime applications. If you want something that uses later Flash features you might as well do it in Flash. If you must have QuickTime media in a highly interactive environment, then use Director, which can have both Flash 8 and QuickTime 7 content in it, even if the QuickTime Flash support is turned off.
