I noticed that when exporting DV to "Movie for iPod" the non-square pixels are still not square. That is, DV exports at 640x426 instead of 480 tall (previously 213 instead of 240). This is when exporting a DV clip either from Final Cut Pro (4.5) or QuickTime Pro. Seems like an oversight, no? But on my part, or Apple's?

According to a Knowledge Base article at Apple you have to first open the movie with QT Player pro and change attributes to 640 x 480 (640 x 486) and save before exporting. It then does the export correctly.
