This is another complication and 'gotcha' relating to 7.1.3.
I have found one reproducable instance, on Intel Macs, where QT
Player displays a movie differently depending on whether it is opened
in its default Universal state or 'using Rosetta' (changed with a
checkbox in the Get Info window for the app).
For one simple project I finished and published last year, on Intel
Macs I now need to open QTPlayer with Rosetta in order to ensure the
results I programmed. tested and expect.
I have since noticed that: If opened with Rosetta QTPlayer will *not*
display Flash content, irrespective of whether or not 'Enable Flash'
is checked in QT Preferences.
In my case, this means that there is no consistent QT set-up on Intel
Macs that will allow the expected playback of the movies and projects
that I have made and that I am still trying to develop.
